I’m an award-winning travel writer and editor specialising in wildlife, conservation, camping and adventure travel.
I’m the Features Editor at National Geographic Traveller (UK), and before that I was the Acting Assistant Travel Editor at The Times & The Sunday Times and a freelance travel writer for the Telegraph, Independent, Wanderlust, Rough Guides, DK Travel and loveEXPLORING. I’ve also edited a best-selling book about the Kruger National Park.
Before going freelance I was a Travel Editor at Rough Guides, where I managed a team of travel writers and commissioned, edited and project managed guidebooks ranging from Australia to Myanmar. During this time I was sent on assignment to South Africa, where I wrote about the country’s first majority-female anti-poaching unit and recorded an episode for Rough Guides’ award-winning podcast. My feature later won Best International Article at the 2019 ATTA Media Awards. I have since been awarded Young Writer of the Year 2021 at the Travel Media Awards.
